As we near project close, several major retailers are open for business, including PetSmart, Kirkland’s, Hibbett and Rack Room Shoes. We anticipate that Michael’s will open on the 30th of this month, with T.J. Maxx following on April 27th and Ross Dress for Less in July.
It’s been a pleasure to watch our work come together this week. The punchlist is in progress at PetSmart and cash wraps and fish tanks are in place.
Thin brick installation is in progress at Michael’s and interior stairs have been painted. At Ross Dress for Less, EIFS and thin brick installation is in progress. Lights have been installed on the sales floor, and a light valence backing has been installed and painted.
Around the rest of the site, EIFS is progressed, along with interior framing and drywall installation. We are now grading the last area of parking lot, where the construction trailer was sitting. Parking lot signage is being mounted.
Week by week, we are seeing The Village on Pooler Parkway take shape. At Petsmart and Michael’s, exterior paint and interior tile work are in progress. Exterior fascia framing and cladding are complete at Ross Dress for Less, and MEP and interior wall framing are moving along. Structural steel and decking are almost complete at TJ Maxx. Exterior soffit work will start Monday.
At other locations around the site, we are seeing sidewalks poured and storefronts installed, along with additional MEP work. Irrigation systems, trees and sod have been installed on the west and north sides of the site.
At Petsmart, our team is working hard on exterior framing, roof drains and electrical rough-ins. We moved forward with Michaels steel erection, and all the slab leaveouts have been poured. The pouring and erection of walls and dock walls has been a primary task at Ross Dress for Less. We poured the slab for TJ Maxx and started tilt up panel layout. Sitework continues around the property.
